NOTES:
Track: This years course combines the original "Nordschleife" (North Course) which was built in 1927 with the new Grand Prix course built for the Formula 1 races. Total milage for one lap is over 16 miles with over 1500ft of elevation changes. It is the longest, most difficult and demanding road courses in the world. There will be over 300,000 spectators.
Cars: Limited to 250 cars for the event with a waiting list to get in.
history: Shane won two 6 hour races and one 24 hour race in Nürburgring. This will be his first time driving an Aston Martin at the event. Shane's past participation was in Porsche and Audi.
Drivers: One American and two Germans. Shane won a 24 hour race with both Vic and Karl as co-drivers.

Notes: Been a crazy first Day in Germany! Sleet and snow as we got to the track. VERY cold outside. First practice, lost a fuel pump. In qualifying, the steering column came loose. Then major accidents on track, thankfully we weren't one of them but it took us out of any faster laps. You think maybe we got all the bad mojo gone before the race start on Saturday? Hope so!
Ohhhhh, did I mention its now supposed to rain the entire weekend... Oh the joys :-)
